The big »Konzert der Kinder« (Children’s Concert) is the Hamburg Instrumental Competition prizewinners’ concert and takes place annually at the Laeiszhalle since 1983. In front of an audience of around 2,000 people, some 120 children perform with great enjoyment in ensembles, orchestras or as soloists.
