To mark what would have been Bill Haley’s 100th birthday on July 6, 2025, Bill Haley’s Comets are honoring the father and pioneer of rock’n’roll with an exclusive European tour. Joining the tour are original Comets guitarist Bill Turner and steel guitarist Pete Davenport. Frontman Joe »Bill« Clifton has been hailed by international media as »the best Haley since Haley«. Following a sold-out performance at the Tempodrom in Berlin, Berliner Morgenpost wrote: »He performed like a steam locomotive running at full throttle, powerfully driving the »Never Ending Rock’n’Roll Express« forward while paying a worthy tribute to his legendary predecessor.«
Bill Haley’s Comets take the audience on a musical journey through Bill Haley’s life, highlighting the key moments of his career – and doing so uniquely, with an original 1954-style lineup. From the early wild sounds of the Comets to the global smash hit »Rock Around The Clock,« audiences will, for the first time ever, experience the true, original rock’n’roll in a fresh, powerful sound. The show offers pure American entertainment: from the musicians’ wild stage antics and the authentic ’50s sound of Haley’s hits and rarities to the bandleader’s engaging and witty on-stage commentary.
