The English musician and songwriter Benjamin Clementine is back! On his third studio album »And I Have Been«, he presents twelve eloquent and musically powerful songs that can be understood better through the lens of his personality rather than by assigning them to a genre. That was already the case in around 2014 when his first songs »Condolence« and »Cornerstone« were released: his voice had soul, his piano playing was jazzy, and his live “school” were the streets of Paris, where he was living – homeless – for a while, already impressing many people with his talent. Since then, the London-born musician with Ghanaian roots has built an amazing career, enthralling audiences in small live clubs as well as in opulent concert halls such as the Laeiszhalle.
