BAP’s time travel

For more than 40 years, Wolfgang Niedecken’s BAP has been considered both a true rock institution in the German music scene and an inexplicable phenomenon. The band thrills fans in the Cologne dialect all over Germany, even German-speaking neighbouring countries, and thus far beyond the borders of the Rhineland. The band members are considered »pop stars of almost incomprehensible greatness in the early 80s« (Rolling Stone) and have a lasting influence on people’s musical taste with their songs, especially in the current decade.
