Anna Margolina

A programme for real jazz fans and all those who want to become one: the band led by Anna Margolina celebrates the Great American Songbook and also plays original compositions from the newly released album »One Endless Night« on this evening. Jazz Radio Berlin writes: »Given the sound of the band, you could have easily dreamed yourself into the era of jazz: Into a New York club lounge while people dance and drink cocktails. You were literally waiting for Frank Sinatra to mingle with the audience with a glass of whiskey in his hand.« As the front woman of the renowned Andrej Hermlin Swing Dance Orchestra, Anna Margolina has toured Germany’s stages. In her own programme, she devotes herself primarily to sounds on the edge of pop and tells of her emigration from Minsk to Berlin.
