Young Artists

The Elbphilharmonie not only presents established top artists, but also showcases hand-picked young musicians, for whom a performance here is often the springboard to a great career. The audience in turn has the opportunity to experience tomorrow’s stars today. The »Rising Stars« are selected by the leading concert halls in Europe and always perform in Hamburg in the context of a week-long festival. The current season’s line-up is particularly striking with its innovative concept, combining, for example, art and authentic folk music or using video projections. In the »Teatime Classics« series, you can start with coffee or tea and cake in the elegant Brahms Foyer of the Laeiszhalle and then listen to the talented musicians who are currently winning prizes at major competitions.
