Travelling with migrating birds

For the first time, Iceland with Harpa in Reykjavik is joining the European Concert Hall Organisation, which sends young artists on tour every year to the continent’s major concert halls as »Rising Stars«. Álfheiður Erla Guðmundsdóttir, a singer from the Scandinavian island who loves the poetic, mystical traditions of her country, was nominated without further ado. She is currently not only making a name for herself on the major opera stages in Basel and Berlin, but also implementing unusual projects as a photographer and video artist.
