Hamburg-Based Artists and Bands in the Recital Hall
The Elbphilharmonie is Hamburg’s – the City of Music’s – new landmark, but it’s not the only place in Hamburg where good music is made. The city’s musical backbone is made up of all its clubs, bars, off-locations and rehearsal studios. This is where the young, experimental Hamburg-based artists and bands work on the sound of the future. The new series »Made in Hamburg« brings these young musicians into the Elbphilharmonie and provides a platform, thereby broadening the musical spectrum of the concert hall in many directions: on six separate evenings in the Recital Hall audiences can take in intimate singer-songwriter arrangements, minimalistic electro-sounds, intergalactic jazz and soulful blues riffs.
