Some fine samples of the Elbphilharmonie's festivals this season: »Britain Calling« with the country's latest musical high flyer, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, conducting the CBSO and a Weinberg portrait by the man who rediscovered him, star violinist Gidon Kremer. The series is rounded off by a reunion with acclaimed former Artists in Residence Teodor Currentzis and Mitsuko Uchida.
