The Aurora Orchestra is celebrated worldwide not least for its remarkable ability to perform entire symphonies from memory. While this might seem daunting to some, it is a liberating experience for the London-based ensemble. Without the barrier of music stands, the musicians can fully immerse themselves in the music. Under the baton of Nicholas Collon, Beethoven’s famous Seventh Symphony transforms into a fresh and intense experience – music that exudes pure joy.
