Castles, barns, stables and churches are converted into concert halls during the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. The festival, which offers concerts at more than 60 out-of-the-ordinary venues around northern Germany, is dedicated to a different composer each year – Johann Sebastian Bach in 2019. This summer’s Artist in Residence is violinist Janine Jansen. The 2019 festival presents 12 concerts in the Elbphilharmonie Grand and Recital Halls.
