Christmas with NDR Low Brass & Friends
From Gabrieli to Debussy
NDR Low Brass & friends is back on the chamber music stage: with a diverse, ambitious and atmospheric Christmas programme. When they perform as an ensemble, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra’s brass section has always aspired to look further than the standard classical repertoire – and to present rarely performed works the audience won’t be familiar with. The list of composers on the programme – Gabrieli, Lully, Händel, Mozart, Tschaikowsky, Puccini und – reveals the broad scope of musical history that is explored.
