Vadim Repin / Sergei Nakariakov / Maria Meerovitch
Schumann / Grieg / Brahms
Trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov and violinist Vadim Repin have a lot in common: both come from Russia and both made their breakthrough as musicians at an early age. More importantly, however, both are celebrated for their virtuosity. While those two musicians have already performed at the Elbphilharmonie, the third musician of the evening is performing her debut on the Grand Hall stage. Pianist Maria Meerovitch also hails from Russia and is in demand around the world as a soloist and – as on this evening – a chamber music partner.
