Futile yearning

In the early 1930s, Igor Stravinsky composed his Violin Concerto, a work full of allusions and ironic arpeggiation, as well as technical challenges and tongue-in-cheek idylls – interpreted here by Guy Braunstein, long-standing artistic partner of Symphoniker Hamburg.
