In retrospect, it is clear which composer’s work was his last. But could the Creator himself have known about it beforehand? And if so, can one observe it in the work? In this concert, Christoph Eschenbach and the Festival Orchestra bring together two symphonies, both of which are »last« works, but with very different meanings.
