The focus this evening is on the faraway horizon. With works by Hosokawa, Saint-Saëns and Bizet, the Symphoniker Hamburg turn towards distant worlds and remember a recent natural catastrophe. The solo part in the Saint-Saëns piece is performed by the highly gifted Lucas Debargue.
