Respect! Hamburger Abendblatt Says »Thank You«

Local newspaper Hamburger Abendblatt says »Thank you«. Some 20,000 policemen and –women from every German state were on duty in Hamburg on 7 and 8 July during the G20 Summit. The Hamburger Abendblatt invites 1,000 members of the police to return to Hamburg for a special concert in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall in recognition of their courageous work protecting residents and the City of Hamburg during the various – partly violent – riots organised by summit opposers.
