This year, the pianist Ragna Schirmer is celebrating the 200th anniversary of Clara Schumann’s birth. On the basis of historic programmes that document the celebrated composer and pianist’s activity over many decades in the nineteenth century, Ragna Schirmer performs Clara’s concerts in the original locations once again. At the Elbphilharmonie she is joined by the soprano Pia Davila and the tenor Florian Sievers to recreate the Hamburg concert of 27 March 1878.
