Plácido Domingo returns to Hamburg in autumn 2022. The tenor has a close connection to this city: he made his breakthrough with his debut as Otello in Verdi’s opera at the Hamburg State Opera in 1975. For this concert of selected arias and duets, Plácido Domingo is accompanied by the soprano Micaëla Oeste, as well as the Hamburger Camerata under conductor Eugene Kohn.
