In his novel »Offshore«, Greek author Petros Markaris affectionately bridges Greek mentality with a razor-sharp analysis of a crisis. Petros Markaris has won numerous European prizes, among them the Pepe Carvalho Prize and the Goethe Medal. The author grew up in Instanbul and lives in Athens. He reads from his novel at the Harbour Front Literaturfestival, which brings together some 100 German and international authors at more than 25 locations in Hamburg’s docklands, including for the first time the Elbphilharmonie, from 13 September to 15 October.

Please note that this event takes place in German.
