Pantha Du Prince
»Conference of Trees«
In his new project »Conference of Trees«, the musician Hendrik Weber, aka Pantha Du Prince, explores the way trees communicate. Science is increasingly confirming what has been told in stories across nations and cultures for centuries: trees can exchange information over great distances. Weber translates this cytological »conversation« into an artistic work that – in the space between music, visual poetry and speculative science – offers a sensory gateway through which to approach this mysterious phenomenon.
