Compact Classics, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra’s series of one-hour-long concerts of stirring orchestral music in the Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie, now enters its second season. In the final concert of the series, conducted by Principal Conductor Thomas Hengelbrock, a real gem from the classical music repertoire can be heard: Ludwig van Beethoven’s »Eroica« Symphony.
