Heath Quartet

Whether it’s Mozart or Beethoven, Tchaikovsky or Bartók, or contemporary music by Jörg Widmann – the Heath Quartet from Manchester has been playing everything at the same spectacular level for many years. No wonder they are welcome and regular guests at the world’s top concert venues. And they regularly garner best marks for their CD productions. In 2016, for example, Gramophone Magazine chose their complete recording of the string quartets by British composer Michael Tippett as its Chamber Music Record of the Year.
