Goldmund Quartett
Webern / Haydn / Mendelssohn Bartholdy
Just back from its tour of Japan, the Goldmund Quartet takes up an invitation from the TheaterGemeinde Hamburg to perform at the Elbphilharmonie. Since its founding in 2009, the four string players from Munich have played in the very same constellation, working tirelessly to expand their repertoire. In Hamburg, three (modern) classics are performed: Haydn, Mendelssohn and Webern. The four Stradivari violins played in the Goldmund Quartet resonate to the music of Joseph Haydn‘s »Lark Quartet«, Felix Mendelssohn‘s »String Quartet No. 4 in E minor« and Anton Webern‘s »Slow Movement« and »Six Bagatelles«.
