»For Seasons«
Alan Gilbert / Roland Greutter / Members of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra
- Livestream
Under the title »For Seasons«, musicians of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra under the baton of chief conductor Alan Gilbert perform a brand-new version of Antonio Vivaldi’s »Four Seasons«. Algorithms based on historic weather data – rising global temperatures and the increased amount of extreme weather – and its consequences, such as the extinction of animal species, dramatically change one of the most famous works of classical music.
