The composer and conductor Heiner Goebbels and the Frankfurt-based Ensemble Modern Orchestra have been working together for two decades. Inspired by jazz-rock and world music, Goebbels has composed numerous works for the orchestra, which was founded in 1998 and focuses exclusively on contemporary music. The orchestra now performs Goebbels’s new full-length opus »A House of Call. My Imaginary Notebook«.
