English Chamber Orchestra / Ana de la Vega / Ramón Ortega Quero
Mozart / Haydn / Elgar / Stamitz / Cimarosa
The English Chamber Orchestra can boast two unparalleled achievements: not only does it hold the record for performances in the most number of countries; it has also produced more recordings than any other chamber orchestra – with more than 1,500 works in almost 900 releases. The orchestra’s first patron was the famous English composer Benjamin Britten, who had a significant musical influence on the orchestra.
