Elbphilharmonie Open Days
Tour of discovery between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. through the foyers, concert halls and backstage areas of the Elbphilharmonie
It’s well worth stopping by!
Where are the lights controlled from during a concert? What does the organ actually look like from the inside? And where do the artists go during the interval? If you would like to find out all this and many other exciting things about the Elbphilharmonie, the Elbphilharmonie Open Days are just the place for you!
On 18 and 19 June, the building opens all its doors and invites visitors on their own voyage of discovery.
The foyers and concert halls are freely accessible, with short guided tours and special demonstrations offering insights into the stage technologies, plus the backstage and administration areas. In other words, a glimpse into the inner workings of our concerts. Participation in the short backstage tours is possible without advance reservation and is subject to availability.
Information stands and expert guides with a wealth of background knowledge are on hand at various points throughout the building. In addition, a wide range of music performed on three different stages will ensure an upbeat mood throughout. It’s well worth a visit!
Please note: The discovery tour lasts for approx. 120 minutes. Admission at the main entrance of the Elbphilharmonie is at the beginning of the booked visiting time (the time stated on the ticket). Late admission is possible up to a maximum of 20 minutes after this start time.
