Concert versions of musicals are always something special, if only because here the singers are alone on stage, with no scenery or other effects to distract attention from them. This is particularly successful in the case of »The Music of Les Misérables«, not least thanks to the very well-chosen cast. »Les Misérables« by Boublil/Schönberg has been running longer than any other musical in the world. Hardly any other musical has so many magical and touching melodies and such overwhelming drama, which no-one can elude.
