For its Elbphilharmonie debut under principal conductor Tugan Sokhiev, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse has chosen music full of colourful imagery: Berlioz’s »Carnaval romain«, Rimsky-Korsakov’s »Scheherazade« and two symphonic poems in which violinist Renaud Capuçon takes the solo part: Ravel’s famous »Tzigane« and Chausson’s »Poème«.
