Violinist and crossover artist Mihalj Kekenj, AKA MIKI, is known for bringing musicians together from across different genres. His main job is actually the music director of the Bergische Symphoniker, but from his creative mind also spring exciting projects like the »Takeover!« concert series. Over the course of this series, well-known interpreters of pop and rock perform together with MIKI’s chamber music Takeover! ensemble.
The fan community still remembers legendary performances by Max Mutzke, Cassandra Steen, and Joy Denalane. This time, MIKI will be bringing Joris to SHMF as a special guest. The singer-songwriter stormed the German charts in 2015 with his single »Herz über Kopf« and received numerous awards, including for his debut album »Hoffnungslos Hoffnungsvoll«. The audience can look forward to an extremely touching and intimate evening.
