The acclaimed British artist, producer, composer and experimental musician Matthew Herbert presents »The Horse« – one of his most extraordinary projects to date. Using a real horse skeleton and working in partnership with the London Contemporary Orchestra and a number of renowned guest musicians, Herbert creates an inquisitive, restless, original and almost ritualised sound collage. Herbert now brings this fantastic work to Hamburg for the first time. Taking the place of the London Contemporary Orchestra is Ensemble Resonanz, which has earned a reputation in Germany and further afield for its expertise and openness to experimentation.
