She moves effortlessly between different styles, playing both the recorder and the viola da gamba, and also composes: Viennese musician Eva Reiter. As the Elbphilharmonie’s Artist in Residence in the 2019/20 season, she presents herself in a variety of concerts: at tonight’s performance of her work »The Lichtenberg Figures« in the Recital Hall, she appears herself as a vocalist. The piece is a revised version of an earlier work; the new version was jointly commissioned by the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Elbphilharmonie, and enjoys its German first performance in Hamburg.
