Once upon a time there was a marvellous book of fairy tales waiting to be rescued in grandma’s attic. Unfortunately there were so many words on its pages that no child in the world could be expected to go to the trouble of reading the stories. »Who is supposed to read all that? It would be much better if the characters in the fairy tales came to life«!! The witch Kleinlaut waves her magic wand without further ado and – oh fiddlesticks! That was the wrong spell! With extracts from Engelbert Humperdinck’s opera »Sleeping Beauty«, singers Christina Clark and Marie-Helen Joël and their prince Michael Haag carry young opera fans off to the world of music theatre. Raise the curtain for the witch Kleinlaut and her gang!
