With their new joint CD in 2020, Ana de la Vega and Ramón Ortega Quero set an example: flute and oboe, together, as soloists with orchestra, and in recital. This has not existed for a long time. These two instruments, which have always complemented each other perfectly, are finally appearing together again in the limelight. At the Laeiszhalle they present a refreshingly unconventional programme alongside their colleagues Paul Rivinius and Gabriel Schwabe. Only recently, de la Vega and Ortega appeared together at the Elbphilharmonie with the English Chamber Orchestra.
