Amaryllis Quartett / Ramón Ortega Quero
»Kammermusik als Oper«
Chamber music in the spirit of opera
This concert’s programme combines works by the two opera composers Mozart and Panisello, each of whom address major themes that move humanity with their own distinctive tonal language. Argentinian composer Fabián Panisello (*1961) interweaves chamber music with opera’s energy and psychological impact in his compositions. »The reference to opera,« says Panisello, »serves as an inspiration for a syntax and a shaping that strive for an innovative artistic result.« The works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart also allow theatrical communication to take effect in chamber music by making something deeply human audible.
