»Wonderland, wonderland – the land of fantasy. Wonderland, wonderland – full of magic and enchantment.« With this song, children’s TV presenter Malte Arkona turns the Laeiszhalle into a musical fantasy world – into the world of »Alice in Wonderland«.
Martin Bärenz has created a musical fairy tale from the story of the little girl Alice who follows a white rabbit down a hole and finds herself in a dream world, where she has all manner of adventures with the grinning Cheshire Cat, the caterpillar with his hookah and the Mad Hatter. The Symphoniker Hamburg is supported in this children’s concert by the young dancers of the Tybas Dance Center.
