Musicians from the Tunisian-based Ensemble de la Musique Méditerranéenne and the Deutsche Akademische Philharmonie Hamburg join forces to form a new orchestra in celebration of the intercultural exchange and friendship between Germany and Tunisia. Under the baton of Kamel Ferjani, the orchestra presents a programme of classical vocal and instrumental works from Tunisia at the Laeiszhalle.
The first »Al-Rabiah« concert took place in 2012 as part of the Arab Spring. »Al-Rabiah« is the Arabic word for spring.
