Salif Keïta is regarded as one of Africa’s biggest voices. His musical ascent began in the 1970s as a singer with the Malian band Les Ambassadors. In 1984 he moved to France and he has been transposing the music of western Africa – adding rock, funk, jazz and electronic influences – to the urban present ever since.

Salif Keïta has been forced to cancel his concert at the Elbphilharmonie due to illness. Stepping in for the venerable singer from Mali is Orchestra Baobab, West Africa’s most iconic dance-band with almost a half century of international success.

Purchased tickets retain their validity for the Orchestra Baobab concert that takes place at the same time and date. Alternatively, tickets may be refunded at the ticket shop where they were purchased.
