For the three days of the »Electronauts« Festival, it’s all about electronically produced music in the Elbphilharmonie – synthesizers, vocoders, loop music, oscillators and more. The Modular Synthesizer Ensemble has 12 synthesizers with which to produce sounds, melodies and noises – i.e. to come up with complete compositions. In this one-day workshop led by Gammon, a musician and music educator who has been working with synthesizers since the 1990s, participants gain insights into working with modular synthesizers – experimenting, improvising and eventually creating their own composition. The result is presented in this concert.
