ABGESAGT: Dona nobis pacem

To mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, the European Concert Hall Organisation commissioned twelve young European composers to write new works. The results are twelve choral works dealing with the themes of »peace« and »conflict.« As part of this project, Catholic school and church choirs from different Hamburg neighbourhoods have worked on these pieces in their own creative way over a period of six months, turning the commissioned works into their personalised songs for peace. The results are presented in Hamburg’s St. Mary’s Cathedral.
