American author, songwriter and singer Willy Vlautin has turned the album by his band Richmond Fontaine into a novel: in »Don’t Skip Out on Me« he tells the tale of the young Horace Hopper and his friendship with the ageing farmer Mr. Reese. Willy Vlautin accompanies the reading with his songs.
