Artist-in-residence Kian Soltani indulges with his star friends Mao Fujita and Renaud Capuçon their mutual love of chamber music. Whenever the heavy schedules of the three top musicians and friends allow it, they perform as a trio – most recently, for instance, in the Wiener Konzerthaus and at the Easter festival in Aix-en-Provence. Two piano trios by Felix Mendelssohn and Piotr Tchaikovsky, which already caused a sensation at their respective premieres, resound in Hamburg.
