Time travel through an evocative artist’s life

»Freiheit«, »Mit Pfefferminz bin ich dein Prinz«, »Sexy«, »Lass uns leben« are songs that have shaped entire generations in Germany. The musician and actor Marius Müller-Westernhagen is one of the best-known and most influential artists of this country and century. But who is hiding behind this man on stage? Author Friedrich Dönhoff met Westernhagen often to talk to him about composing and writing, about Berlin and Germany, about racism and love, and about defeats and successes. And incidentally also about his life. Marius Müller-Westernhagen told of what moved him and made him the person he is today. His memories take us back to his childhood, to the young Federal Republic of Germany and to his first performances in the time of the youth revolts, when a new kind of music began to change the world.

Please note: this event takes place in German.
