Description

With their passionate playing, inspiring interpretations and high musical standards, the Mannheim Philharmonic has quickly made a name for itself on the international music scene. Founded in 2009 by Boian Videnoff, the orchestra has set itself the goal of offering promising young musicians a springboard to start their professional career. And tonight’s soloist is young, too: pianist Olga Zado comes from the Ukraine and has already won prizes in many international competitions. In this concert, she shows her mettle with Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto in a minor. The programme comes to a rousing close with Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
