Kreativ BeatObsession – Weekend Edition

Until the Walls shake

During the two-day weekend workshop “Kreativ BeatObsession” – the compact version of the popular four-day holiday program – participants, with the support of the Hamburg-based start-up OCLEAN, spend two days collecting discarded objects in the vicinity of the Elbphilharmonie and use them to develop their own instruments. With a great deal of creativity and a willingness to experiment, they tap, drum, and build until the found objects become unique musical instruments. The result is a unique installation that is played with rhythm – by the participants themselves, but also with electronic tools that are introduced in the workshop.
