Description

Please note the change of artist:
It is with deep regret that Christoph von Dohnány has had to cancel his participation due to a health reasons. He is immensely grateful that Finnish conductor Hannu Lintu will be stepping in for him.

»Compact Classics« is the title – and the motto – for the new concert series of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra where less is more. It is aimed at all the people who live hectic lives and have restricted time to attend concerts. One-hour performances on Sunday afternoons can now be enjoyed: 60 minutes of stirring orchestral music in the Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie. This leaves the entire rest of the evening free for all the other fun things in life! This series offers concertgoers the chance to experience various world-renowned conductors live in three attractively priced concerts and is an ideal subscription for newcomers to classical music.
