Switzerland in the ear

In addition to very listenable and little-known chamber music by the Swiss composers Theodor Fröhlich and Joachim Raff in the »normal line-ups« of string quartet and string sextet, the audience can also expect the combination of string quartet plus dulcimer, yodelling, dulcimer and double bass or string quartet plus alphorn. Also: cello duo, piano duo, flute quintet and much more. The Stradivari Quartet from Zurich will be there, as will the celebrated recorder player Maurice Steger from Winterthur, the Swiss piano duo Soós/Haag and, with Nadja Räss (yodelling), Lisa Stoll (alphorn) and Nicolas Senn (hammered dulcimer), three stars of the country who are equally at home in folk music as well as classical music. A wonderful experience with numerous surprises.
