A musical adventure presented by the Symphoniker Hamburg that is ice-cold and hot at the same time. Together with children’s TV presenter Juri Tetzlaff, they are going to try and build a musical snowman with clear sounds and magical melodies. The centrepiece of the evening is a work by a child prodigy: Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s piece »The Snowman« bubbles with sparkling melodies and unusual arrangements. A concert set amidst toboggan runs and snowball fights. But how does snow sound, translated into music? This is a concert that offers an amusing love story, the chance to join in and, of course, beautiful music.
