Marathon on the harpsichord

Jean Rondeau, the shooting star of the harpsichord, returns to the Elbphilharmonie with his latest project. In a marathon concert consisting of three one-hour blocks and two intermissions, he plays exclusively works by Louis Couperin, who has accompanied him since childhood: »He made the instrument sing like no one before him – and perhaps no one since.«
